HI ,

I have gotten my flu shot every year because I don't want to risk getting it. I was recently very ill. Believe me it is something you do not want to go through. It was very painful because I got the dry heaves since there is nothing left in the stomach after the first episode.

I haven't had the stomach flu, but I do have reflux and my stomach makes to much acid. I'm 6 1/2 months post op, my reflux has not gone away but it's better. So I believe every person can handle things differently after surgery. I do get a flu shot and I am much healthier now, but still don't want to find out how I handle the stomach flu. Donna wrote:
