was a Christmas gift. We tried it out today, and it made short work of

slicing a rump roast into wafer-thin slices for lunch meat. Just like the

questionable junk at the store -- only I know what is in and on MY roast

-- beef, and a sprinkling of pepper.

I'm saving this for future reference!  I miss not being able to eat ham (deli ham kills me but homemade baked ham does not) and it would be nice to make my own turkey breast and have sliced turkey.

Marilyn, that looks great. Does it seem sturdy? I mean, like it's going to last a decent length of time? I'd LOVE a meat slicer.

It looks pretty sturdy to me.

It was also fairly easy to clean once we figured out how to remove the

tray.

Real easy to adjust the thickness of the slices.

I've had my eye on this slicer for some time -- but keep in mind that

it's a close-out, so may not be around forever.

And yes, I have the same problem with ham and turkey and.....
