Guest guest
Well after my big fit over how my family doesnt take any of this seriously, and they all seem to think the doctors are just imagining my boy is sick, my Mom FINALLY saw a bit of what i was talking about. One of the things that i have told the doctors a few times, and they are now taking a little more seriously is that when brandon wakes up in the morning or after a nap, his hands and arms are shakey... sometimes just a little, sometimes ALOT (to the point that it seems to scare him because he cant stop it). it usually lasts a minute or so, sometimes up to 5. My mom thought i was crazy telling the doctor this because she had never seen it herself and thought i was overreacting (she wakes him up maybe once a week, I do it every day, so Im the one that sees it). Well today she got him up this morning, and he had a major shake episode. it lasted a good 5 minutes, and spooked him again... As much as it sucks that it happened, im glad she saw it, she told me afterwards that she just thought i was reading too much into things, but after seeing it herself, Im hoping she will lay off now and give me the benefit of the doubt... Guest guest
That is soo great that she got to see it and believes it now! Knowing my family, even if they saw something, they would probably forget about it pretty quickly. Denial seems to work best for them.
