Guest guest
My husband and I started the intro diet 2 days ago. Both of us feel " better " , not worse. I feel more energetic and my husband doesn't feel " yucky " immediately after he eats. Yet neither of us feel any " major " change. My kids started this same diet a month ago and 2 out of 3 of them had extreme die off. I KNEW this was a good diet for them due to the die off (at least that's what I keep hearing). So, I'm expecting this major die off with my husband and I and neither of us feel bad at all!!?? Don't get me wrong, we aren't complaining. We do feel good, just not as drastic as I had hoped. ...I'm now looking around to knock on wood as tomorrow I'll probably have so much die-off I'll have hoped I didn't mention it! HA! We are only on day 3. Is it " supposed " to get worse? How long does it take for die off to start? We are both VERY extreme on this diet. Thanks! (Or if I did, I was so out of it from my gall bladder surgery, I didn't notice.) Only thing I had for my three month flare was a craving for illegals. Then, several years into SCD, I started using s. boulardii and had the die-off from hell. Guest guest
I got a mild bit of die-off at about a month, and a bit more at three months. Neither that bad, not nearly what I had been pre-SCD. I'm now coming up on 6 months, so we shall see...
