Am having a very bad flare with my headaches and face pain. Spent a

few hours in the ER last night.....God I just love Dr's that ask

questions but don't listen. Thank God my sister was with me and could

talk for me since I tend to have memory lapses and my speech decides

to take a hike. I don't do well with prednisone it literally makes me

crazy, so they use medrol which is a much smaller dose, I have less

side effects with it, but boy do I still have them. The hot flashes

are so bad (I'm in Oregon), wearing short sleeve shirts and capri

pants. They did a non contrast CT last night which they said showed

nothing. All the scans I've had in the past have shown nothing, they

found the growth on my trigeminal nerve by doing surgery. The only

decent thing the dr did last night was give me more vicodin with

refills (so unusual for an ER doc). Keep me in your thoughts and

prayers the next 7 days while I live through my own personal steroid

hell. Forgive me for rambling, agitation is another side effect that

hits me full force.
