Guest guest
That is my question as well. I didn’t think there is a cardiovascular connection. Thanks for any info. Carol CD 21 yrs SCD 5 yrs From: BTVC-SCD [mailto:BTVC-SCD ] On Behalf Of Debbie You mentioned in another post you couldn't do LDN due to an irregular heartbeat. Just wanted to see if your doctor told you this or is it on their forum, etc.?
Guest guest
doc told me at an appt i so keep hoping i can get my thyroid fixed and maybe that's whats causing the irregular heartbeat so i can use ldn too if needed - she also said as a downside if you go to the er for pain etc- pain relievers don't work anymore-?? eileen > > You mentioned in another post you couldn't do LDN due to an irregular > heartbeat. I've not heard that (which doesn't mean it's not true, of course). I myself, and my husband, who it's helping a great deal for post-polio syndrome, both have (not very serious) mitrovalve prolapses. Guest guest
As for me, I was just wondering about what Eileen posted earlier re: heart and LDN. I'm very curious and haven't heard that at all so thought I would ask. I'm still pondering it but not at this time. Guest guest
i have an appt with doc 1/4 - will check for you - she's very nervous about it and is also uping my thyroid meds SO slowly due to being cautious with my heart - i'm hypothyroid and can't get these meds to work at all!!! but since uping too much can cause palpitations - then i understand where she's coming from :-) eileen > >> > >> Eileen, the doctor casually mentioned I had a heart murmur and I hadn't > >> thought about it until you mentioned in your post about LDN. Guest guest
Hi Eileen If you are having heart palpitations on thyroid meds. You need to check your ferritin. It need to be between 70-90 any lower than that and it will cause problems with taking thyroid meds.
