Designed to raise awareness of this devastating disease, the 2007 K.I.S.S. Campaign will reach millions through a combination of local events, print articles, Public Service Announcements and widely broadcast health reports. In Chicago, hundreds of supporters, patients and well-known celebrities whose lives have been impacted by sarcoidosis gathered together for the official 'kick-off' at KISS Chicago. In addition to raising more than $150,000 to support Foundation programs, the event provided an opportunity to honor those working to advance the Foundation's mission to improve the lives of those affected by sarcoidosis and to find a cure for this disease. Also, as part of awareness week activities, we are pleased to announce our first research award of 2007, the FSR-ATS Partnership Grant for Sarcoidosis ($100,000) and the release of a new comprehensive consumer publication on the disease. Read the articles below for more information on each. Generous contributions from our supporters made these important projects possible. Donate Today.
