Guest guest Posted February 10, 2007 Report Share Posted February 10, 2007 hi becky, i am in cumbria and called sue age 40 i am at the moment going through a bad time in a wheelchair since my visit to spain and ended up having to go into spanish hospital back in september,I have been told i have the nuero part of this illness but i also have raynauds and sjogrens along with sle lupus,I was admitted to preston royal some 70 miles from where i live as no nuero wards where i live so means hard work for my family,I was taken in for 5 days iv methyleprednislone and now on prednislone along with imuran been feeling ill after husband and daughter had flu last week although i had flu jab in october now i have been put on antibiotics, meaning my tabs up to 23 a day again, fasomax s for ostoparosis..due to steroids this illness as been going on 14 years now at first doctors thought it was a bleed in my head and the pressure in my head was up to 32 and needed pressure taken away so had brain op back in 2002 and was ok well without the nuro probs untill september,Although the pain in my legs as always remained the same...And my eye problems have always stayed the same. I am wondering if the steroids and imuran get people back to some sort of good health again and if i will get out of this wheelchair? nuerologist wants me on these for at least 2 years he as said i have to go back to see him on april 13th(friday) hope this means good news not bad.Sick of tablets and taking one to help something and another because one tablet is causing something else don't seem to be winning this illness this time.And i am worried as only have the one kidney left and so scared something will happen taking all this meds, I do hope you get as well as you can sending all my luv sue xxx New Yahoo!
