I think I saw someone post that C is a possible side effect of LDN?

Is this correct?

PJ

It hasn't been for me. But I suppose if LDN is improving your D you

could head that way and I would assume you might adjust your diet a

bit to include things that formerly increased the D. Just my idea.

As I say, no gut effects yet of any kind.

It is possible that I need to add more fiber now. Maybe this is a good thing :)

Keep in mind that almond flour had more fiber than (illegal) Metamucil,

according to Metamucil's own advertising circa 2001. Of course then they

hadn't found some of the benefits of almonds, and claimed that you didn't

want to eat them because of the (boogah, boogah!) FAT in them.

PJ, for us the big C is a side effect of anything. Either C or D come up if

anything is slightly out of balance.

I was on a site that states that raising your fat ration to too much lean

protein will help the C....we are not sure as sometimes it is just our 3yo

holding it because he can....so frustrating! I also drink an ionic fizz drink

that helps keep me regular...it is calcium, mag, d, c, k, ...etc. Mostly, we

keep the fat up and use a probiotic enema if it gets too bad...that straightens

it out right away and helps the other symptoms too.

Thanks Anne. I love your title- " no sleep for mommy " . I've been there. Now mine

are teens to 20's. You will sleep...eventually LOL. If I'm awake with teens it's

because they are out and I'm waiting up for them. With a reasonable curfew it's

OK :)

Well, I tried Metamucil once, pre-SCD, and it was the most dreadful junk

I've ever encountered.

My point, however, is that you don't NEED fiber supplements to get more

fiber, something I think you are already aware of.

Yes, absolutely- I meant eating more legal fruit and veggies. I had cut a lot

out for fear of D, but now I think I need more. I'm thinking this is a good

thing :)
