While you're waiting for more answers regarding the G tube, it might

help if you keep a close eye on intake and output, recording every ml

of fluid that goes in and weighing every diaper. Some poops look

terrible in a diaper but actually weigh very little. The reverse

seems to be true for pee. I know it's a pain in the neck but it

might give you more objective info for when you finally talk to the

doc. What meds is he on? Could it be that he's not absorbing them

to begin with? H never absorbed carnitine so she gets it IV.

You've probably already tried this, but do you think it could be that

he's getting more milk than he can handle? I'm not thinking just

lactose but maybe the fat? If you ever dumped a diaper into the

toilet does it float? Sorry for the visual(EEW!)

It sure sounds like you have been through a lot with the boys. I

YES Heidi, this is a GREAT idea!

Kris, you might actually dry dumping the stool in the toilet. If it floats or looks like there's oil on the water, that's a sign of pancreatic insufficiency.
