Guest guest
Hi All, I have heard Dr. Baughman's name mentioned several times. We saw him originally when they were taking biopsies to try and determine if it was sarcoid, but we don't currently see him, only an immunoneurologist. Do yall think we should see Baughman too. I know that he does a lot of sarcoid research.
Guest guest
If you are able to, I would check in with him. He is very willing to see sarc patients & will work with the local medical team on treatment recommendations. He is probably as knowledgeable about NS as anyone, even though he is a pulmonologist. He is also a member of WASOG (World Assoc. of Sarcoidosis and Other Granulomatous diseases, I think), and they are on the forefront of research into sarc & current treatment options. I see him at least once a year, even though I am being seen at the sarc clinic at Indiana Univ. Medical Center.
