Guest guest
Kimber, I have seen people get chicken pox as an adult when they had definitely had them as a child. It's uncommon, but it happens. About 2 yrs after being diagnosed with sarc, I was working and exposed to someone with shingles. Not thinking anything about it cause hey I had chicken pox. About 3 weeks later I had the chicken pox again, another small case, just a few spots. I never had a titer done to see if I now carry the antibody that kids get when they get the chicken pox, so who knows I might end up with them again if I'm not careful.>> Shingles is a form of Herpes Zoster, and is an "adult" form of chicken pox.> It seems that many of the people with sarc get shingles, but it is not a > cause that has been identified. > I find it interesting because for me, I was 25 when I got Chicken Pox.
