For a simple exercise which I started with was Chair Dancing. Go to Health Education at your Kaiser and borrow it, it's a VHS tape. You'll laugh at first, but believe me when I started this journey I could barely walk. I have fybromialgia, arthritis, screws in my feet ( from prior surgeries) and a real bad knee. This is how I got to exercise for a long time. I was 270 at the time of the beginning of the journey and now 61/2 months post op I'm 143 and of course do a lot more exercise. It was a good way for me to get started. Dama

I guess for me it was waiting for the surgery, this was my 14th and I almost died after surgery once. I knew if I didn't do this I was going to die any ways, I had a list of health issues not just one or two. So it was scary for me, but I can tell you what to me this was one of the easiest surgeries I had gone through. Dr. Baggs knew my history and took all precautions, and every thing went well. I had a few little set backs after surgery, but I over came them and I've done get. I now walk 1to 2 miles a day, and 4 to 4 1/2 on Sundays. I still ache, and the cold weather doesn't help, but let me tell you it's so much easier 127 pounds gone. Yes I would do it over again, hope that would never have to be. Just saying for me it's been the best and I'm very happy with how I'm doing and my health has improooooooooooved so much it's unreal. I wish you luck on your journey, and we're all here for you.
