Kathie, Congratulations!!!!! I'm so glad that it worked out for you

to have Dr. R help you. You are the second person this week that has

talked about the gastroplsty hopefully she will post again and you

can talk to her, she was looking for others that has already had

experience with it. Welcome back to the group.

I am also new at all of this I have just been approved I have the same

feeling as you do to I am scared happy but I know I am doing the right

thing. This is a good place to get all of our questions answered

people are really sweet.

Oh, I am Sue. I have been approved, have had all my appointments... I am working on my 10%... I have 19 more pounds to lose.

My husband passed away from cancer so I know a little how you feel. I gained a lot of weight when he was sick, from the stress. I'm waiting to find out if I'm going to be accepted. Have you been accepted yet?

i am a 32 yr female......i started the process for the surgery.....i have all the feelings---scared, happy, i know its the right thing for me....my mom passed away on nov 10, 1999 of breast cancer...that was the most painful thing in my life........so i have gained over 150# and i am short.......i hope all goes well from here on..............
