Guest guest
Hi everyone, Last night my bf w/ neurosarc complained of intense aching pain in his bones and sharp pain in his arms. Have any of you ever had your bones ache from the condition? Or do you think it could possibly be from the medication. He is currently on Cellcept, Lyrica, Nortriptylene, and Topamax. Thanks for any insight, Ebony
Guest guest
Hi Ebony, The inside the bone pain is a symptom of sarcoidosis. sometimes it's because the inflammation cells are in the blood itself, sometimes it's because our body is needing some mineral tweaking. One thing to remember is that with the meds all of us are on-- Folic Acid (B12) is very important to supplement. Most of the drugs deplete the B vitamins-- and that can cause alot of the body pains. MSM Powder- which is a natural mineral that we've engineered out of the soil and foods-- seems to help me. I also take a calcium/magnesium supplement on occasion and that seems to help. The prednisone most of us have had to take leachs the calcium from our bones-- so if you don't have high calcium levels- then a supplement can help. Also watch how much dairy products are consummed. The lactic acid that is a by product of dairy increases arthritic pain. Also, sugars-- (processed) can make us very uncomfortable. This is a subject that we've addressed several times over-- so if you go to the ARCHIVES (address at bottom of this page)- you can search by bone pain and find several posts on this. Guest guest
Hi Ebony, I get deep bone pain especially if it’s cold, then it’s the worse, I believe it’s from the Sarc. Keep him warm, that’s what I do and it helps my pain. Hope the pain gets better fast.
