Guest guest
, I think the issue here is not that a mistake was made (if it in fact was), but that Dr. Ren appears to have not been honest about it. I personally withold any judgement, and since I am on the west coast it has little personal impact on me. BUT - if I were trying to choose a New Your surgeon I would certainly be VERY CONCERNED. There is no burden of proof on a person who chooses a service provider. You are free to discrimante in whatever way you wish. Choosing to play it " safe " with a doctor who has the respect of ALL of his or her patients seems to be a prudent measure to me. As far a the legal case is concerned: I agree that we should leave this to a proper Jury having heard both sides of the evidance. Guest guest
Thank you I couldn't agree with you more. Guest guest
I retract my statement. It was out of context and not part of the topic addressed. From now on, I shall keep my religious thought and opinion to myself. My deepest and most sincere apologies. -----Original Message----- From: star00066@... I consider myself a Christian (one belonging to Christ), the Bible is my guide for life – a part of my daily life, and sacred to me – just as the Koran or Torah are sacred to others. Fundamentalist? I guess I could be – I believe in basic moral tenants laid out in the Bible. Does this make me someone to be feared? I hope not. My goal is to live my life in such a way that God is honored. If you find that threatening, I sorry. I would think after all of the hurtful things that we (meaning those who are MO) have experienced – can’t we come to a place where we can leave discrimination behind? We come to this place as a refuge – to support one another, to cheer one another’s victories, and mourn with each other in times of difficulty. We all come from different religious, ethnic, political backgrounds. Can we abstain from bashing one another? Perhaps in future, it would be wiser to make such a comment in a private email, rather than to the group as a whole. Thanks for taking the time to consider my point of view. As we’ve been beating this dead horse over and over, allow me to have the club for a moment. These comments were my opinion. They are not based on fact, merely conjecture from the evidence I have reviewed, thought about and formed an opinion about. Dr. Ren is guilty..but guilty only as being human and having the possibility of making a mistake. While I am not 100% sure this is the case I wish to cite that very possibility. It is unfortunatle and VERY FORGIVEABLE in my opinion that this Saintly (saintly is my opinion) Physician may have slipped with her scalpel a bit. This is very unfortunate and though I wish this were not one of the possibilities, it is and there is nothing that will take that away. I am not judge and jury nor do I claim to be. A lot of things went wrong..and just like automobile accidents, shit happens when several unfortunate events or factors come together at the same time. Thanks, --handing the club to the next in line and giving the horse one more swift kick for good measure as he walks away. Thank you all for your ear. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
