At least they say: " The new report calls for more rigorous research into the

prevalence of digestive problems and whether special diets might help some

children. For now, the report states, available information doesn't support

special diets for autism. "

FWIW, on MSNBC, where they posted this article as well, there were a lot of parents commenting that dietary changes indeed worked, including one parent who was the head of an autism group.
