Guest guest
Hi- I received a dehydrator for Christmas and made yougurt in it for the first time (I've made it once before in my oven). It came out with a skin on top. Has this happened to anyone else? I set the temp at 105 for 24 hours. Thanks, Angie

Guest guest
Boiling the milk can make it " skin " . It's not a problem and you can scrape it off. Guest guest
After your milk had cooled, did you remove the skin that had formed on it before mixing it with starter and pouring into the yogurt maker? Doing that makes for a smoother yogurt. HTH, - > > Hi- > I received a dehydrator for Christmas and made yougurt in it for the first time (I've made it once before in my oven). Guest guest
Thanks for all the suggestions! They will be used when I make my next batch.
