Guest guest
Hi guys- Can anyone tell me if we start on the ADEK's immediately post-op? If so, did you order yours before you left to have your surgery? If you bought them through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, were you forthright with them about not being a CF patient? Your input is most appreciated! from NE PhillyBMI 63, age 39Open DS w/ Dr. Pomp, 6/27/01Aetna USHC, HMO - payin' for the ole "Gastric Bypass" ; 0]
Guest guest
I did not order the Adeks before the surgery, only after I got home. But it wouldn't hurt at all to order them in advance. You'll need a prescription from Dr. Pomp that you can either fax to the CF or mail in. I was honest, told them I had malabsorption due to the DS surgery. Was absolutely no problem. I now get a refill every 3 mos that I just call in. Best of luck with your upcoming surgery. Christa (from CT) > Hi guys- > > Can anyone tell me if we start on the ADEK's immediately post-op? Guest guest
Hi , I did order my ADEK's before the surgery. However, Dr Baltasar told me to start them one month after surgery. I have had no problems with them at all except they taste kind of gross (like baby aspirin)! Best of luck, Jean in SC Dr Baltasar Spain May 14 2001 > Hi guys- > > Can anyone tell me if we start on the ADEK's immediately post-op?
