Guest guest
Has anyone had this happen to their pituitary AND did having pit surgery to remove the lesion help at all? , Welcome to the group. I'm so glad that you are getting some compentent care to deal with this. I have all the symptoms, and have sent a couple of articles I found in my research in other emails- so you'll be seeing those come thru today. I've not had surgery-- I did have my thyroid removed when I was 18, and have had sinus surgery that also showed significant sarc involvement. I'm on a regime of Plaquenil, Methotrexate and Remicade. It has been since the start of Remicade about 18 mo ago, that some of the hormone issues have settled down. Since the pit is so much a part of the regulatory system for our hormones and heart rate and body temp control, I suspect that many of us have issues with this. But since our MD's think it's so rare-- we're not getting the dx. When we have, they called it NS-- and yep, its also neuro-- but I know myself, I'm trying to get some endocrinological help to get these issues more in control. Take care, and so glad you're enjoying the humor-- we all need to laugh-- more. Hugs, Tracie NS Co0owner/moderator ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone.
