Guest guest
hi all. adeks through the cystic fibrosis site...they are fine with you getting it even tho you don't have DS. My question: is it a prescription item? I thought I'd get a couple bottles ahead of time and get started on them right before surgery (whenever the heck that is) About periods in the hospital: many people have said it starts whether due or not since your body is all messed up. If it does, be prepared. You might want to consider the most giant pads possible for the best coverage. Another thought is to take or ask for chux or whatever those absorbent blue pads are that lay in the bed, might make things easier. Such an interesting thing to contemplate :-0 blessings~ becki ===== Becki, near Portland, OR BMI 50-ish, age 42 pre-op DS. hoping to get approval through Aetna Traditional Choice (fighting 'investigational' denial) Consulted with Dr. on 3-13-01 psych ok, nutrition ok, beckeye_58@... __________________________________________________

I won't comment on periods. But, guys might want to have some maxipads handy, too. They are great at protecting your outside world from oil leaks. Of course, you cover a different opening... --Steve --
