> HI, I have lesions of sarc on my pituitary gland effecting my entire

endocrine system adrenals, hypothalamus, and thyroid. So I have been

diagnosed with hypopituitarism, diabetes insipidus (giving me daily

problems with urine output),adrenal insufficiency, steroid dependency.

I also had a stroke in 89 all thought to be caused by neursarc. With

the endocrine problems it is very important to get into a good and

comfortable morning routine for yourself because the adrenals are not

functioning first thing in the am so after medicine try to eat I am

usually to queasy but I like odd food for breakfast such a tamales or

burritos etc., and after meds i need to sleep a little more so my morn

routine is very helpful to give me a day that is partially functional.

of course there are the days i feel great and overdue and than i land

in bed for a day or two so it very important that i stick to morn

routine know matter how i feel!!!!!!! i am seeing a wonderful

endocrinologist at the mayo clinic in rochester mn dr. nippoldt. He

also found a chronic low sodium problem reguiring periodic blood work

to avoid a serious drop and hospitalizations. This usually accompanied

with adrenal crisis' where all electrolytes decrease and an incredible

power failure palpitations dizziness low blood pressure and confusion

to name a few of the symptoms that can lead to a coma so endocrine

problems are not something to take lightly!!!! I hope this helps and

does not scare you it is all manageable with proper meds and paying

attention to your symptoms and not be afraid to go to the er. Bye for

now Anne
