Guest guest
FWIW St. Jude recommended a reverse osmosis filtration system because all of the other water filter systems do not filter out the bacteria. ..· ´¨¨)) -:¦:-¸.·´ .·´¨¨))((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:--:¦:- ((¸¸.·´* PS Their lives in 3 words - Childhood Cancer Awareness.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQRYoL9lCQYJust think Positive thoughts for all those Warrior's still fighting!!! Guest guest
I use the countertop model. It’s pricey, but worth it IMO. The company is Multi-pure. http://www.multipureco.com/product_info.htm Carol From: BTVC-SCD [mailto:BTVC-SCD ] On Behalf Of smdsmom2008 Since we are on the subject of healthy foods, what are the best water filters? Guest guest
I have a water filter under the kitchen sink. It's deionization, which is apparently what they use to have the cleanest of clean water for labs. It isn't wasteful of water like reverse osmosis is, and there's no place I could put a distiller, plus I would worry about mildew and mold if I had a distiller going. I don't know if this is readily available, but if you live in the Seattle megalopolis area, Custom Pure is where I get the rig. It has one big tank that must be replaced annually, and two filters, one of which is changed annually and one every six months. So far DH is still able to do the changeovers but they will send people to do it for you if you are not able to. They actually have quite a lot of kinds of filters, and it depends on what you want and what is in the water that will be filtered.
