Guest guest
CSA's (community supported agriculture) may be a good option for some people who are interested in buying grass-fed, locally produced meats (and/or fruits and veggies.) Basically, the idea is that you team up with other folks in your area and buy a "share" of meat/poultry or produce. You wind up supporting local farms, getting fresh food, and generally paying less than you would at places like Whole Foods. I'm still researching options in my own neighborhood. If you'd like to research your area, here's a site that helped me :-)http://www.localharvest.org/csa/Best to all,Nina Grass fed ground beef was what I was referring to when I wrote the prices per lb. - see below. I haven't looked for any other cuts of grass fed beef, except for liver which I found about a month ago at Whole Foods for $3.00 lb. I live in GA. I went to the eatwild.com site that Nina provided to find the list of providers.. Here it is: http://www.eatwild. com/healthbenefi ts.htm
