HI ,I didn't see if you received an answer to your tea question then I noticed the email address was to the Long Island list server.  I am under the impression that most if not all of the SCD email traffic has moved over to the yahoo group below.

To answer your question, I drank a lot of the caffeinated weak green tea with no problem, until recently when I started to get head aches.  I switched to PG Tips black tea and the head aches went away.  Now just because I did not have a problem does not make it legal.  That said I am under the impression that the tea you describe below would be legal.  I would try it with out making other changes to your diet.  That way if you have any problems you will know the cause.

Is natural decaffeinated green tea legal?  I found a brand at Whole Foods that uses a natural CO2 method to decaf the tea, with no added ingredients.  Regular green tea (with caffeine) helps my heartburn but keeps me up at night.
