Really sad no one told her about Protein shakes or the Vits She has been sick and no support, she also want to come to our new group. by the way I'm still waiting on call back will go to my Drocters tomorrow to get weighed and Ill talk to her about the group time. Need a blood test also. Ill let everyone know and think this will be great I know a few people already who will come and talk including a chef. Great times ahead...... Big Hugs Caryl I agree, there are a lot of people that would be interested at Santa . We need to get a supportive dietian. Guest guest
Hi , I was at the Santa Clara meeting also, the shy one with the grey sweatshirt in the back after they moved us. I agree it was a good meeting and there was a alot of information. That was my first meeting that I have attended and I think it was Great!!! I believe that it is good because there was a registered dietian who is the gastric bipass dietian. So we told our stories, but she was able to give us good facts, not myths passed from paitent to patient. I think that is important. Since the Santa Dietians are not supportive of the Bipass, where do we find someone that will have the right background and be supportive? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Maridiana Saucedo Goddess (hehehe) (Cell) maridianas@... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Happiness keeps You Sweet, Trials keep You Strong, Sorrows keep You Human,Failures keeps You Humble, Success keeps You Glowing, But Only God keeps You Going! Guest guest
I'm about two blocks from Hamilton and Winchester. Sorry I'm so slow jumping in here. Real life got in the way of my cyberlife, to the point where I have over 5000 unread group e-mails. That's what happens when you belong to more than a dozen groups! bczion13@... wrote: > Where in Almaden > I live in New Almaden! How Cool!!! -- Eleanor Oster eleanor@... Guest guest
Yes, I will be there. Is there anything I can do to get a support group started at Santa ? I know it will have many participants. We just need to start it. Does anyone know what needs to be done to get it going? > > > After my surgery I want to start one at Santa .. Guest guest
Hey, Eleanor, you're literally right around the corner from me - I'm closer to Valley Fair, though. Do you go to the support meetings at Kaiser Santa Clara? I'm going to try to get to my first one in December - the past couple of months I've had something going every time there's been one scheduled.
