I'm thinking of trying D-Ribose and maybe L-Carnitine to help with mitochondrial

functioning for my fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue (and everything else that ails

me). I'm also taking CoQ-10, magnesium malate, and many other supplements.

Might D-Ribose be okay on SCD since it's a simple sugar like fructose and

glucose? I already asked this on the Healing Crow forum, but I'd like to hear

if anyone here has had experience with these supplements. Thanks.

All three are very helpful.n-- Now available. I've looked into the supplements you mention because I suspect I am dealing with mitochondrial disorder as well. Haven't tried D-Ribose, but I did look up the chemical structure. It is a monosaccharide, so should be OK or SCD-legal depending on the contents of the supplement you find. Do check for any illegals used as fillers, additives or non-active ingredients in any supplement, not just those for a mitochondrial cocktail.

My body rejected CoQ-10, which was typical for my body but frustrating. I'm still talking with my doctors about carnitine and a few others. I'm still investigating and testing the other ingredients typically used for the mitochondrial cocktail. Not sure whether my body will tolerate them, nor whether any of them will help with my symptoms.

Good luck!
