The specific link is http://www.localharvest.org/colloidal-silver-C4517There are other sources of course (and also at the Local Harvest site), but I'm very happy with Hubbs-Kreft's stuff; and also with the effectiveness of her herbal preparations for two of our cats, one with pancreatitis, the other with a serious urinary tract problem. I've tried at least four brands of CoQ10 since I started taking high doses of it about three years ago when my immunologist prescribed it after diagnosing me with mitochondrial dysfunction. He recommended Q-Gel for its efficacy and high bioavailability, and also Sam's Club's brand. (Swanson Vitamins sells Q-Gel for a fairly good price; I haven't used it lately, so haven't looked to see if it has any illegals in it, but he was right; it did work well.) At the moment I'm using the Sam's Club's Member's Mark brand. It does contain soybean oil. (Soybeans themselves are SCD illegal; is soybean oil? I can't remember. But the CoQ10 is something I need to take.) [i just did look up Q-Gel and it does contain sorbitol, which the Sam's brand does not.] As I said, I take high doses -- 400 mg. capsules -- and since the stuff is expensive I'm sticking with the Sam's brand because it helps and it's what I can afford. n-- Now available. Yeah I was looking at the costco brand last weekend, but wasn't sure of some of the ingredients offhand, like the last 3:http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11380144 & search=CoQ10 & topnav= & Mo=0 & cm_re=1_en-_-Top_Left_Nav-_-Top_search & lang=en-US & Nr=P_CatalogName:BC & N=4001222%204294965838 & whse=BC & Dx=mode%20matchallpartial & Ntk=Text_Search & Dr=P_CatalogName:BC & Ne=5000001%204000000 & D=CoQ10 & eCat=BC%7C589 & Ntt=CoQ10 & No=0 & Nty=1 & Ntx=mode%20matchallpartialIngredients:Soybean Oil, Gelatin, Coenzyme Q10 (Ubidecarenone), Glycerin, Yellow Beeswax, Soy Lecithin, d-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, Titanium Dioxide, Riboflavin.Anyone have a clue about the last 3? Guest guest
> what is a good source for CoQ10? I use Ubiquinol which is the most absorbable form of CoQ10 (http://www.kanekaqh.com/about-kanekaqh.html). I buy Healthy Origins brand from iHerb.com, and I use only 50 mg because it's much more efficient than the regular ubiquinone form. Can't find them listed anywhere. D-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate is Vitamin E, Riboflavin is Vitamin B2. Titanium Dioxide is one of those additives you might want to research, but it's probably okay SCD-wise. I think Soy Lecithin is not SCD legal, but it's mostly a fat(used as an emulsifier) so it's probably not really that bad. Debbie T

It's legal -- I use it in salad dressings to make the oil and vinegar stick together. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
