I was looking at Tahini in the store yesterday. I have not tried any yet. Are

there any recommended brands? What should I look for or avoid ( besides the

obvious additives? )

Thanks,

PJ

There's Krinos which has nothing illegal listed.  It's kind of expensive.  I found it at Randalls (Safeway) but I recently found organic tahini at Whole Foods a couple of dollars cheaper.  MaraNatha Natural Roasted Sesame Tahini with salt.  Ingredients read mechanically hulled sesame seed, sea salt.  May contain traces of Peanuts and Tree Nuts.  I think Krinos is just seseame seed paste and salt (not sure on the salt--I don't think so).

When I went to find this, I found the sunflower butter spread and it reads cane juice--I think I read so many labels, I picked the wrong one.  The organic does not have sugar.  I think it just reads Natural on the label.  They also had tahini.
