Hi mom and i are back from Cal= trip went well considering we both have major

health

problems-Broke my insulin enjector in SF but found a diabetes clinic that gave

me a free

one- had some problems with my eye sight from driving so we took it slower

coming back

up- rode the cable cars, went to a train museum as i love trains, and went on a

n

House tour which was interesting. Hope all is well with everyone- MATT

Wow, Matt! Sounds like a great trip. Did you get some pictures? I'd really like to see a photo of you & your mom. That was a nice break, to get a replacement injector. It seems like we often focus on the things that go wrong--breaking something, catching a train when we're running late, etc. But there are so many little things that go right, and I know that I often forget to notice them. That's why I put up my poster called "Good Things DO Happen!" I try to remember to write down even the little things, like just missing a train when I'm running late!

Find a local pizza place, movie theater, and more….then map the best route!

Matt,

I am jealous...I love n homes. I used to like to go do the

plantation homes when I lived in Louisiana too. I think for me it is a

history thing.

Glad you had a good time with your Mom.

mATT,

Sounds like a great time! I haven't done SF in years, and would love to wander Pier 39. I always have to get down with friends, hates driving in city traffic (he doesn't even like Chico).

Personally, I think I'd like to do the wine tasting train ride thru Napa Valley-- it's an all dayer-- and would be a great way to see the valley-- hmmm- maybe next fall...

Get some rest, and do take care of you.

Matt, Sounds like a great trip (except for the broken insulin injector) . As Terri said, the n home tour must have been really good. Did you go down the "crooked street"? lol Seriously, glad you had a good trip . I know how much you and your Mom have been looking forward to it. Hi it has been a while so i thought

I should check in- My computer was down for a while

and i

just now got it working again. My mom and i are finally going on our trip to Cal. We

leave

next tuesday and will be in SF for three days then go on to Sacramento.. If anyone is

in

those two cities and would like to meet i would enjoy that. My health has been

so-so-

still

lots of problems with my teeth, had to get 2 more pulled and then afterwards

devoloped

an infection in my mouth. They still cant get rid of my headaches but that

hasnt

been

to bad, I also have all of the same aches and pains in my knees and elbows. it

has

gotten

to the point were I can barly hold a glass in my hand. I am tinking about going

back

to denver in the fall to Nat Jewish as i am not feeling

totally confident on my are in Seattle.

Not

much else new in my life. Seattle

area has had a lot of bad weather this winter so will

be

glad when its over. Anyway if anyone is interested in meeting and lives in San

Fran or

Sacramento

please let me know if u would like to meet-Hopwe all is well with everyone

else

and i look forward to reconecting with you MATT
