Guest guest Posted August 29, 2004 Report Share Posted August 29, 2004 Hi everyone, I know this time of year is a busy and stressful one for those who have kids going back to school. We are preparing to get in school and hopefully increase communication from her teachers and the school nurses. I had a long talk with DR Korson's Nurse Practitioner this week and I showed both of them the daily information sheet that I send into school for the teachers to fill out. We talked about putting together a resource book of school information sheets/system monitoring devices for parents/guardians to look at. We know that every child is different and will need different things on their sheets, but parents will have samples to look at and then be able to make a more appropriate one for their child. So we are asking if anyone is willing to share something they have already made up for their school system to e mail it to me. Please take the child's name and any possible identifying information off the sheet before you e mail it. We will obviously go over each one carefully before we put anything together (HIPPA you know). We figure we can help save time and energy by giving parents ideas of how to elicit more information from their school system.
