Guest guest
The youngest was always terrified of the thunder & lightening. This particular day, she was beyond consoling so on a whim, I grabbed some soap & headed out on the back deck. My youngest came to the door, wondering what I was doing...taking a shower I explained. I was fully dressed & soaked to the bone from the rain. She went & told her sister...now they were both thinking I was off my rocker. My oldest decided that taking a shower in the rain looked like fun so she came out. My little one, not to be outdone, was right on her sister's tail despite the claps of thunder. They started laughing & giggling as they jumped up & down in the puddles. Their nightgowns seemed to glow from the falling rain, so much so that they looked to me like a pair of dancing angels. I could think of no better name for a place which made my children so happy. My youngest now looks forward to stormy days so we can go out and dance in the rain...and so do I. This was too awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this story. I can just picture two little girls, in wet nightgowns, laughing and giggling and shining in the light!
