Guest guest
> Laurie, I am feeling really good other than this dang cold that I have now. Things are going good. I am going to be measuring myself tomorrow and taking my 1 month post op pics. I went back to work today and that was fun. I am excited for the routine. Miss my kids already though. I really wish I could be a stay at home mom or at least just work during their school hours. My food is doing good, I am getting in my exercise and I am really working on that fluid. So as of today I have lost 25.5 lbs. post op and a total of 59.5 lbs together. I am happy with that number. Thanks for checking in with me. Guest guest
Kristie, You are doing gggrrreeeaaattt! Keep up the good work. I do believe a routine also helps keep us on track and busy so I minds don't have time to think of food or what we might be missing, but I do know Moms miss their children because they work, because I'm one that gets to love them, I run my in home day care and have been doing so for a little over 18 years now. Children are great! Donnahollotwomn@... wrote: > Laurie,I am feeling really good other than this dang cold that I have now. Things are going good. Guest guest
Hi Cathy, I use to get Flylady. Its cool I think I'll go check it out and see if I want to get emails again...Thanks Big Hugs Caryl Donna, your comment about routines triggered something in my mind - is anyone else here "doing Flylady"? I was really impressed recently when I logged in to the Flylady.net website after a long absence and discovered that they're working with the concept of "body clutter". . . changing habits, attitudes, and behaviors around body image and weight. It seems like something that could be really useful. And for anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, just visit http://www.flylady.net - a wonderful resource for anyone who's feeling overwhelmed by life, work, household organization, or - yes - body clutter!Cathy C.>> Kristie,> You are doing gggrrreeeaaattt! Guest guest
Cathy C. Flylady can probably help a lot of people, glad you put that out here for any one who needs help. I myself am one who has always been organized and things are always in routine, if it wasn't I would of never made it 18 years of daycare, a family, husband ( with chronic depression and high anxiety), I do every thing business ( also preschool for my childcare), house, yards, help take care of my parents, bills, laundry and all the normal stuff. I don't forget about myself, I exercise, eat right, take time for myself not often enough but at least 1 to 2 days a month to do fun things, I attend my support group, I go to college off and on, and I keep things going and I'm not over stressed but very busy. I've already bought all my xmas gifts and have started wrapping and all will be paid for before xmas gets here. So routine helps and being prepared for life, and as far as xmas I love it, I like going to see the lights, decorating, going to churches seeing different xmas plays and signing going on, so this gives me time by being prepared. That's why I always say we all need time to enjoy life. Life brings lots of stress, but routine and structure can help. Thank you for the Flylady information, you always have good resources and information. Guest guest
Kristie, glad things are going so well. I wish I could retire and stay home with the kids as well. Or maybe just work two days a week. Actually, we just bought a house, close on the 30th, so that's not going to happen anytime soon. ( Keep up the good work! , you are right behind me! Has your plateau ended yet? Laurie __________________________________ Yahoo!
