Guest guest
Hi, I havent had my surgery yet but there is always a position you can use. I had twins during my last pregnancy, they were each over 7 pounds. We still managed to have our time. Be creative and just take time-I was so big that it was hard to wipe after I went potty. My husband is like yours, he alwasy tells me Im beautiful. He loves me more than I could ever imagine. I wish that every woman could be as lucky as we are. yours,
Guest guest
There's a question I have for post-ops that's pretty " risque " . LOL I've been looking through the archives, and I haven't really found posts on this subject, so I'm going to try to be brave and ask. (This is not like me at all and I'm blushing as I type this! LOL) My husband is concerned as to when we can be " intimate " again. I have to be honest, I'm not in a big hurry. I've always been very self- conscious about my weight and it's made me feel unattractive. My husband always tells me how beautiful I am (to which I roll my eyes), but it doesn't help. I think maybe he's starting to see the person I'm going to be, instead of what I look like now. Ok, I'm starting to chase rabbits now, so back to the subject. I'm worried that if we're intimate, it might hurt my stomach. I mean, I can't even sleep on my stomach yet without pain. And we all know that being heavy limits the positions you can use. Any words of advice? ~Mindy, OH
Guest guest
Mindy, You didn't say how far post-op you were????? And I think the saying " If it hurts, don't do it " applies here. I know I was 2 weeks out..but everyone is different. Good luck! Cindy > There's a question I have for post-ops that's pretty " risque " . Guest guest
Sorry all, I forgot to mention that I'm almost 6 weeks post-op. ~Mindy > > There's a question I have for post-ops that's pretty " risque " . Guest guest
Molly- My hubby was afraid of popping stitches or something, lol.. so we waited almost 4 weeks. I know another patient who waited 2 weeks. Essentally, if you don't hurt when he leans on your tummy, its ok. And if it does, its still ok.. just change positions so that he doesn't put weight on you. OK, now that I've mortified you, I'll shut up. Hope I helped! Higs, Liane =) > There's a question I have for post-ops that's pretty " risque " . Guest guest
Hi Mindy: The oily discharge is from the fats you are eating. You would be amazed how much fat is in the things we eat and Taco Bell is loaded with it. I will tell you that your body will adjust to the fats but won't absorb them after a while and the oily discharge will stop then if you eat to much fat at a time or some kind of fats that you haven't eaten for a while your stools will be looser and smellier. I hope this helps a little, eat slowly and don't worry so much about stretching your new tummy out just don't stuff yourself it is very uncomfortable as I am sure you already know. As long as you are not eating sugars you will be fine and the weight will come off. Huggles, Tiger Lake Female 160 lbs. BMI 21.7 224lbs gone 165 1/2 inches gone 6' -- 53yrs young Dr. Anthone@USC So.
