this is karen in ny i want to take a minute to thank all my loyal and close friends on the ds list that have supported me and been here for me, Ellen, you saved my life that sat morning,god bless you..hank u were and are a good caring friend,Alice, u have been there for me from the beginning,,Dawn, words cant say thanks enough for the food/supplies and the visit,and everyone else that called and wrote if i was too sleepy or out of it to hear u thank you from my heart now.

I am home, weighed myself and in 3 weeks lost 5 pds and have certainly been thru hell and am wonderfing was 5 pds worth almost losing my life and emergency surgery..Has anyone else out there had a hernia with lap/ds very soon afer the surgery..I wish i had a cc less than 100 and knew that i might not succeed at this,Any insight will be appreciated...
