Tony, that is one of the loveliest stories I have ever heard. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Hey Terri,The name of the farm came to me one stormy summer's day right after my two DDs & I moved here. The youngest was always terrified of the thunder & lightening. This particular day, she was beyond consoling so on a whim, I grabbed some soap & headed out on the back deck. My youngest came to the door, wondering what I was doing...taking a shower I explained. I was fully dressed & soaked to the bone from the rain. She went & told her sister...now they were both thinking I was off my rocker. My oldest decided that taking a shower in the rain looked like fun so she came out. My little one, not to be outdone, was right on her sister's tail despite the claps of thunder. They started laughing & giggling as they jumped up & down in the puddles. Their nightgowns seemed to glow from the falling rain, so much so that they looked to me like a pair of dancing angels. I could think of no better name for a place which made my children so happy. My youngest now looks forward to stormy days so we can go out and dance in the rain...and so do I.As to the double vision, it started slowly in 2001 with occasional problems which I brushed off as being tired. Fatigue definately made things worse. I saw a neurologist after the problem persisted for a few months...he said it was depression & gave me a sample of Paxil or something of the like. I tossed the pills down the toilet. Next! The problem became worse over time, going from occasional to often to essentially continuous these days. The prisms in my glasses work for maybe the first hour of the day. My left eye starts to blur around then so I put a patch on. By blurring, I mean it goes from between 20/20 & 20/40 to ~20/200 (20/80 with pinhole correction)which is basically useless for reading. The patch looks funny but it helps. Yeah, if I had a nickle for every pirate comment I'd be a rich man. In the long run, I'd rather listen to the banter then deal with the headaches & nausea from the diplopia.I suspect there are a bunch of folks around here with diplopia. Perhaps they can offer some additional insight...peace. Tony> > >> > >> > > Tony,> > >> > > In which State is your little piece of heaven? It sounds> > wonderful. Hey Terri,

The name of the farm came to me one stormy summer's day right after

my two DDs & I moved here. The youngest was always terrified of the

thunder & lightening. This particular day, she was beyond consoling

so on a whim, I grabbed some soap & headed out on the back deck. My

youngest came to the door, wondering what I was doing...taking a

the rain. She went & told her sister...now they were both thinking I

outdone, was right on her sister's tail despite the claps of

thunder. They started laughing & giggling as they jumped up & down

in the puddles. Their nightgowns seemed to glow from the falling

rain, so much so that they looked to me like a pair of dancing

angels. I could think of no better name for a place which made my

children so happy. My youngest now looks forward to stormy days so

we can go out and dance in the rain...and so do I.
