Guest guest Posted June 25, 2001 Report Share Posted June 25, 2001 Belinda - What makes this different, if one takes into account what has already been written by Tom and Deb herself, is that it may well not have been caused by a complication at all, rather, it appears that it is likely that it could have been avoided with the exercise of proper care. If that is, in fact, the case, it is not a complication at all. It is the result of a failure to deal appropriately with the technical aspects of the surgery itself. Sometimes there are complications. Those are problem enough without errors in judgment by professionals creating an even greater risk.
