Guest guest
Luci.... <shaking finger in your general direction> You got some 'splainin' to do.... You've got a good attitude the best possible reason to be good. Just remember what you said below. You have got to be careful dear, or your surgery will go away. Don't let that happen for a few worries. Find other ways to deal with not having your family there all the time. Paint, indoor gardening, find someone to babysit for (?), go visit some friends... anything. You've got just over a week until the rest of your life. You can beat this before it becomes a problem Luci. Ron My house is empty My daughter, son-in-law and my two beautiful grandchildren, moved out of our house today. They were living with us going on two years, until the day they had saved enough and finished some college classes - well the day is here and my home is empty and lonely. The first thing I did was turn to food - but stop myself after the first trick or treat candy bar - now I am in front of the computer with a bag of carrots and keep telling myself that over-eating is not going to take away this emotion and if I am not careful I will not have my surgery on 14th and my house will still be empty......So just keep me in your throughts.....My problems or small - compare to the big issues some of you are going thru.....Divorce, moving, new jobs, overworked - it seems that life is just full of surprises - some wonderful and others are learning experiences.Hugs to allLuci
Guest guest
>Can anyone tell me what I should not be taking as far as medication right before my surgery which is Monday, Nov. 7th? I am finishing up an antibiotic and decongestant and I am wondering if I should stop taking them the day before surgery. I still have a little bit of a cold and a slight cough. I went to a regular Dr. at Kaiser to check to see if I would be alright to go into surgery and he thought I would be fine. I hope I don't find out differently when I go to Richmond on Monday. Did anyone else have a cold/cough going into surgery? I can't believe I am almost there. It's very exciting and terrifying too. Pam E. > Luci.... You got some 'splainin' to do.... Guest guest
Luci, All emotions are stressful, and even though we know others have more problems it doesn't mean we should over look what you're going through. You did good by putting down the candy and getting the carrots. Now is the candy other children's of yours or is it just left from Halloween? If it's just left, throw it away and don't keep anything you don't need to eat in the house, especially during your emotional time. Take care. If you feel lonely come on hear and talk to all of us. Hubby and I also went out to the movies and dinner - only-. It was a great day and I am determine to have this surgery on date set. however - the pressure that is put on us to loss 10% and keep it off " blackmail Style " is very stressfull. Luci > Luci....
