Try a Habachi grill.. they cook the food right in front of you and just tell them you have Allergies so no Soy Sauce and no Spices just salt and pepper. The chef should ask before he puts anything on your food, and mine even used a seperate spatchula to flip everything so there was no cross contamination. -UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 7 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 5 pills a day

Anyone know any SCD friendly restaurants in the city? I'd love to be able to take my son out to eat, and I just don't trust anyone who isn't knowledgeable about the diet. I've worked out with some local LI restaurants to just pan fry steaks I bring in with me for him, and they understand they must use a clean pan with the cultured butter I bring and not add anything else. IF you're celiac or sensitive -make sure they don't use McCormack salt/pepper -
