Guest guest
Dawn, Thanks for the info. I wonder about that but I also have read where or someone else will go in and put someone on No Mail or digest or something like that and since I don't know about all of that stuff, I wasn't sure if maybe I have done something without realizing it that has caused this to happen! Guest guest
Hello, There's no way I can read over 100 messages a day and I really don't want to go down the list and delete messages without reading them, so...........would someone put me on the NO Mail list and could I just receive individual messages if someone would like to say something directly to me? I'd like to be on the digest only list instead of all those emails that really don't pertain to me. Guest guest
Thanks for the quick responses Bill and Carol. To answer your question, He had been taking florinef but only in the morning, 4 or 5 days a week. He was still having episodes of very high pressure accompanied by severe headaches 4 nights later. Was quite dizzy today but he started pushing fluids which seemed to help. His MDs have ordered all sorts of tests to rule out other conditions, all negative so far. We need to get this straightened out quickly because we're scheduled to take a vacation in 2 weeks. We've been counting on this one since before he was diagnosed.( July) I appreciate the support you all bring to those dealing with this nasty disease. Guest guest
Might want to check with your doctor. Sounds like edema which could be a result of a lot of things including to much sodium, elevated blood pressure, PMS. If it is really bad, your doctor can prescribe some diuretics. Guest guest
I often wonder the same thing. About the time I think I have it under control, I don't. If I am conscious about what I am doing, I try to do things to keep my hands and/or mind busy like crocheting, reading a book, going to see a movie (no food please). If I just can't avoid the food, atleast I try to make healthier choices like cheese, ham slices, protein shake with fruit, etc. It is a daily struggle. I have actually considered going back to therapy for a while. Who knows, it certainly can't hurt. Lori Owen - Denton, Texas CHF 4/14/01 479 lbs. SRVG 7/16/01 401 lbs. Guest guest
My questions are pretty predictable. How much protein in supplement form do you get? What is it? How much water? Do you use milk? Do you watch for hidden sugars in " healthy " foods? Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
, Is there a particular reason you are using the Carnation Instant Breakfast? There are so many other protein drinks out there that provide more protein, more vitamins, and more minerals then Carnation Instant Breakfast ever thought about. Just a thought.
