Guest guest
Hi Alyssa, I had not heard of this probiotic, but doing a quick Google brought this up: http://www.ehow.com/about_5150296_lactobacillus-sporogenes.html Controversy Lactobacillus sporogenes bacterium is being marketed as a probiotic to aid in a variety of conditions. However, there are no such bacteria as Lactobacillus sporogenes. The correct name, Bacillus coagulans, should be researched before it is used in humans. Although most bacteria in the Bacillus family are nonpathogenic (do not cause disease), they are also not natural inhabitants of human or animal systems. Since Lactobacillus bacteria are natural inhabitants of the digestive system, the makers of these products are purposefully using the incorrect name to promote the products as similar but better alternatives to other Lactobacilli probiotics. Probably best to stick with an SCD legal probiotic like SCDophilus in addition to your yogurt. Have any of you heard of it?

But it is very hardfor acidophilus to implant in our guts given our diet - it's anti the pathogenicbacteria, but also is no help in aiding the good bacteria to implant as well. That's why we eat a lot of yogurt every day. So you can supplement with the pills, but that won't necessarily help. Mar

I haven't heard of this one but I'm using SCdophilus from GI Pro Health. They recently seem to have upped the pro-biotic count which is all to the good, I think.
