when I was taking the Viactiv it was discovered that my PTH levels shot up

as the Viactiv was carbonate instead of citrate so was not being absorbed by

my body......so now I take calcium citrate and prenatals as the regular

vitamins including flintstones are not strong enough for us post ops.

right but if its carbonate it wont be absorbed as well as the citrate so

most of us take Citrical which is absorbed more readily by the DSers.

As for me, the Viactiv was not being absorbed at all! Hence, my PTH shot

way up!
