Guest guest
Hi Pomy, I have had that same issue for a long time. I am talking and I stop in the middle of a sentence because I cannot find the word I am looking to say. It was very hard for me when I was working because my coworkers looked at me funny and didn't think I was really intelligent and that I didn't know what I was talking about. I was very embarrased. When it comes to family and friends, they get used to it, but they still look at me funny and try to find the word to help me out. I feel very inadequate. I so understand what you are facing. This gets worse when I get tired. As to the numbness in the face...and please know this is not meant to scare you...my last flare started that way. I lost all the feeling on the left side of my face and 1/2 way up the right side. Now that I probably scared the heck out of you...the numbness went away within a few weeks with no permanent effects. It felt no worse than having a face full of novecaine. Mine was brought on by stress when my Grandma became very ill and eventually passed. My neuro said that facial palsy, typically of the 7th nerve, is very common in folks with neurosarc. PeaceTony> > >> > Hi,> >> > Due to my ns, I have days where I don't speak well. Guest guest
I am experiencing the same thing since I have gone back to work as I work in personnel. Some of my coworkers say that they do not see that I am having a hard time with words yet I do. I find I am using the wrong word to say what I mean or thinking of saying one thing and saying another. It is so embarrassing. And it gets worse the longer I work per hour. I am going to try 8 but I am worried as 6 was trying...... So I can totally relate to the embarrassment.
