Guest guest
Dear Lee, I am a patient of Dr. Ren's. When I had my consult, I specifically asked Dr. Ren about Deb since I read her posts and had concerns and questions, etc.... Dr. Ren NEVER divulged any information to me about Deb. As a matter of fact, Dr. Ren never even confirmed or denied that " Deb " was ever a patient. She just explained all the possible complications that are known, what " bad " things can happen, etc... without ever speaking about any one patient in particular. Like explained, when you are an angel, you find out info usually from the family or patient themselves and post info with the person's knowledge, consent and permission. I personally have not come across breaches of confidentiality by medical personnel. If you do not want info divulged about your condition, it won't. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Jane, Thank you, it does help and I appreciate not only the information but the courtesy you and the others on this list have shown in taking my concern seriously rather than dismissing it as something too trivial to worry about.
