Guest guest
I am going to SSF and I have just finished orientation (October 18th). It was very informational. You will receive the 1200 calorie meal plan as well as binder full of reading material. It will be helpful in your preparation. I stated with protein drinks in the morning because I am not a breakfast eater and I started taking my vitamins and cut out all sodas and caffeine and have really tried to stick to not eating breads...my weakness...ugh...So I weighed myself and have already lost 7 lbs. since weigh in at orientation...yes they will weigh you in there and that is the weight that they will use for you to start loosing the 10%. I hope this helps and congratulations on being approved! Maridiana Approved 7/22/05 Orientation 10/18/05 - 257 llbs.azurewinds@... wrote: I got my letter today, so it's official. Guest guest
7 pounds already, that's great. The protein drinks in the morning are a good idea, I'm not a breakfast eater either. I'm almost there on the caffeine. I only have 1 soda a day now. By the time I get scheduled I'll have given that up too. What vitamins are you taking. I'm really confused about that. At the orientation here in Sacramento they said prenatal vitamins are good, but in other places I read they aren't. Guest guest
I know what you mean about the confusion part. Once I went to orientation I was well aware of what I needed to do. The vitamins that I am taking are: Morning: 2 mega multi vitamins 2 calcium citrate Lunch: 2 calicium citrate Evening: 2 iron (23 Mg each) I am prone to anemia so I take 2. Once a week: B-12 sublingual At least that is what has worked for me and my daily schedule. I usually purchase my vitamins at Trader Joe's or the Vitamin Shoppe. I hope this info helps, Smiles, Maridianaazurewinds@... wrote: 7 pounds already, that's great. The protein drinks in the morning are a good idea, I'm not a breakfast eater either. Guest guest
Hello, I just went to my orientation on Tues in SSF. I wonder if you can answer a couple of questions I have? #1 I have been following the 1200 meal plan but I don't under stand we were told to practice not drinking 10 mins b4 and 1 hour after and in the meal plan they will have a glass on milk. So is it ok to have milk with your meal and is it different then a bevarge? The other thing is should I start taking my vitamins now? I bought them yesterday at Kaiser in SSF. Thanks for any advise. Guest guest
Hi , I started taking my vitamins right away to get used to some type of schedule and remembering to take them. As for the practicing the eating and drinking seperatly, I have tried and not masterd that yet, but yes it does include any liquids. I tend to be one of those that takes a sip after taking a bit or two. That will be a hard thing for me to give up. but I have tried and it is possible. I hope that this helps!
