I've been thinking about HRT for sarcoid. To me it seems rediculous and smacks of stone age thinking. All the guys out there please excuse my male bashing, it's not intended for you. To me it seems rediculous, if it worked all the sarc people who were on HRT for years would have been cured. I unfortunately was not cured by HRT. There are enough practitioners who have believed that menopausal symptoms/issues are all in a women's head. Anyway I hope you get my drift. Judy in PA

Judy,

I have been on HRT since 2000 and just came down with neurosarcoid in December. So I do not think says much for it does it?

Judy, I can relate to your skepticism. I'm curious as to the rationale. It is true that sometimes a useful side effect has developed in a drug used for another purpose. I'm thinking that's how Rogaine was found to help grow hair. Seems like it was being used, or tried, for something else, and people noticed "little tiny hairs" growing on their head! (old Bill Cosby routine, for you kids). Anyway, it's hard for me to imagine how it could help.
