Thanks for sharing your Ivan story and glad you are all safe and your house made out ok. Amazingly here in Pennsylvania we had extraordinary flooding. The state capital had to shut down and there was no school and no water for a few days.

Some newsreporter put it this way..."water, water, everywhere and none to drink.

What was odd that the river flooded like 2 days after the torrential downpours and yesterday the sky was blue and no school. Mud and infectious river water and many ruined houses here as well. Sorry to hear neighbors have to re-build.. hope insurance covers for them.

Wow ! I am glad to hear you are all right! It kind of [puts our troubles into perspective a bit! Things are tough here, but I am not fighting an a natural disaster! I just need an act of God!!!!!! LOL. Hang in there!

My heart goes out to all of you that got damage from Hurricane Ivan. I have been so lucky this year to have missed major damage from all three hurricanes. I feel terrible and a bit guilty that all my prayers to send it somewhere else worked but hurt so many others. I'm glad that everyone is safe and I hope your lives can get back to normal as soon as possible. By the way, for those that don't know, Ivan came back here this week and caused a bit of wind and rain in my area. He has turned into quite a wuss and hopefully will stay that way.
