please.....I LOST 27 PDS IN 10 DAYS!!! I am so thrilled. It is only

a drop in the bucket but what a great drop!!

I was complaining about crushing the Citrical because they are so

disgusting going down...and he said Citrical has an effervescent

tablet too. He actually sampled it and said it was quite palatable.

I am going to get this pronto! I really dread doing the med sit down

because of the crushing so maybe this will help. Dr. H said check

a chain pharmacy for it, so I will.

That's terrific, Sondra! And, to lose so much so soon after surgery! You

go, girlfriend!!! :):)

Thanks for this info -- I wonder where we can get this -- please keep us

informed if you get the effervescent stuff... I know Twinlabs has a chewable

citrate, too. I've gotten my citrate at RiteAid and saw different kinds of

it but not the tablets you were discussing... I wonder if it's commonly

stocked or you have to ask for it specifically? Let me know what you come up

with, ok? Many thanks!

just got some Twinlabs liquid calcium for me. It's made of oyster

shell. Niccole recommended liquid calcium to me at my three month post-op

when I told her I was taking citrate (two pills) twice a day. She predicted

I may have a low pth/calcium level (a bit low on the calcium but pth is ok)

because she thought twice a day wasn't sufficient.

You are definately on your way! I'm so glad your incision is healing alright.

all the best,

five months post-op and still feelin' fab! :)

pre-op: 307 lbs/bmi 45

now: 241 lbs/bmi 34

I can't believe it! I went to Dr. Herron this morning to have him

check my incision as I thought it was a bit funky. He said it is

normal but I can't do the pool till it completely dries up (shucks but

no duh...lol).

Today was also the first day I drove any length and Dr. H said it was

fine as long as it doesn't cause me discomfort and no speed racing

(lol).

Happy to be a loser :))

If you find it.. let us know from where? I've heard of effervescent

calcium before- its supposed to taste like Sprite.. and I'd LOVE to

try it..

Congrats on your wonderful loss!

Hugs,

Liane
