testines - so it's not gettign to our helping with lower GI stuff - probably why

your stool didn't show it - what was that test called - i get stool tests but

not for what bacteria are there - just for what yeast etc are there

What is the yeast test called?

Also, what SCD legal OTC supplement did you use to fight yeast?

Also, does anyone know if steroid use can kick up yeast?

Mara,

I just did some reading on the subject. Apparently the reason that steroids

contribute to yeast problems is that it raises the blood sugar levels so more

sugar is available for the yeast to munch on. I don't have a citation or

anything, but that was the explanation I read.

I don't know if I have yeast problems, so to be cautious, I eat coconut oil

everyday. I also take garlic oil capsules (or I mince some raw garlic and put in

a capsule since I'm not fond of the taste) regularly. I actually started this to

help with my bad cholesterol, but I guess it's a good yeast killer too.

I have some Olive Leaf Extract capsules I want to try soon too. Maybe rotate it

with the garlic.
