I think we have checked into this but if I quit my job they won't have medical insurance, so that is the bummer thing about it. But I will check to see if this is the same thing. I don't remember dealing with the department of Disability on anything so maybe it is different. HUGS! As a parent in CA, you could quit your job and get paid by the state to take care of your three children... It would be under Personel Attendant care, I live in AZ and we dont get it until our children are 18, but our state will pay a family member, so my mom quit her job and watches hailee full time why i go to work,... but i use to have a freind in CA who had told me about it, it would be thru your local Department of Disability office, i would check into it....
